Week 21: Monday 24th April
I decided to change up my route at the start of the week because the same route can become quite monotonous. Some things were the same on this journey though. There were lots of hills to negotiate, farm smells to ignore and pot holes to dodge. Despite this, the views were breathtaking. It’s always fun to explore new routes and you never know what’s around the corner. Usually I’m ticking off the hills I have to climb but when I’m on a new route I don’t think about. I completed a loop of 26km with few problems in my legs or hip. My right foot usually starts to develop pins and needles after riding for thirty minutes so it’s important I get off and take a quick break. I’ll have to monitor this closely. Big week of riding planned! Let’s go!
